Bandits strike again at Corentyne

Bandits struck again in the Corentyne, robbing a Number 54 Village family of cash and jewellery. Police, in a press release, stated that at around 19:00 hours on Sunday night, fish vendor Chandradai Budhu and three of her relatives were attacked and robbed at her home by four masked men, all armed with handguns

Investigations revealed that the victims were at the lower flat of the house, with a door open, when the armed men entered and held them at gunpoint. The men then took away a total of $23,000 in cash, a cell phone, and jewellery valued at $440,000. They then escaped.
